Your library stays on your phone
Photos are found and matched on your device. Your camera roll is never uploaded. The only photos that reach our servers are the ones you choose to share, uploaded to deliver them to your friend.
Nothing is shared without your review
You approve every photo before it's sent to anyone.
Photos shared with you are private to you
There is no public feed and no public profile. Only you see what friends send you.
Screenshots are skipped automatically
We proactively identify screenshots and NSFW images and ignore them automatically. We're not always perfect, but it adds another layer on top of your review.
Contacts help find your friends
If you allow contact access, names and numbers sync to Moments to find friends, power suggestions (including friends of friends), and address your swaps. No one is messaged unless you send.
Your face, only with your consent
Recognizing you in friends' photos uses a numeric face signature you create on your own device and share by signing up.
No ads, no data sales
We don't sell your data and we don't show ads.
Texts stop when you say stop
Reply STOP to any message from Moments and we won't text you again.
